Katherine McSpadden, also known as Kae McSpadden in the VO world, is a Scots-Irish and Belgian-American voice actress and artist who started out in Chicago and is working her way through her voice acting and art career in Los Angeles. Born in Luxembourg, she got her first taste of acting when she appeared as one of the child extras in the 1998 made for TV movie "Riddler's Moon." After moving to the United States, she became obsessed with "The Simpsons," which sparked her interest in voice acting after being fascinated with the adaptability and versatility of the show's voice actors including Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, and Harry Shearer.

While studying art and animation in high school and college, she began taking acting classes to apply character acting and body language into her character designs. She decided to fully pursue voice acting at the beginning of 2018 after becoming a student of Bang Zoom's Adventures in Voice Acting Intermediate and Advanced class. Since then, she continued to work on her acting and vocal delivery under the training of talented voice actors including Tony Oliver, Chuck Huber, and Dorah Fine.

After enrolling at Exceptional Minds, a vocational school to train autistic adults in the fields of animation and visual effects, more voice acting opportunities opened up for her. From voicing Rita and providing background voices for the English dub of the Israeli show "On The Spectrum" for HBO Max to providing the scratch voice over for Julia's mother in the animated short "Backyard Camping" for Sesame Street. In addition, she was able to incorporate her writing and voice acting talents into her projects and providing voice over work for fellow students' works, winning her multiple student awards. She has also participated in multiple voice over contests, including winning the opportunity to voice one of the Prinnies in "Prinny 1 & 2: Exploded and Reloaded," and becoming a finalist and a two-time semi-finalist in the popular Now Voice This contest, which draws in over 2,000 participants.

Since then, she has gained more voice over opportunities including Exceptional Minds's 10 year anniversary, voicing Uttamaca in the award winning audio drama "Voyage of the Great Navigators," voiced Flora, Carala, and Buddy in the upcoming indie ride "Kooky Trails," and assisted in voice directing for Exceptional Minds's Embark Club's upcoming indie game "Garden Gladiators."
